Zaika Pavlo Family

Their life, once filled with simple joys like stargazing outside their home, was upended by the war, leaving them without a permanent place to call their own. For months, the family lived in a small modular house, which they knew was no place for a young child to grow up. Pavlo and Yulia, both actively contributing to their community through work and volunteering, were determined to provide a better environment for Daniel.

They reached out to Dell Loy Hansen, hopeful that his generosity could change their lives. “We are asking Mr. Hansen for help,” Pavlo said. “We know he always helps people who ask. We want to see our walls again and sit outside the house in the evening, looking at the stars as we used to.” Moved by their heartfelt plea, Hansen took action. He built the Zaika family a new, spacious, and modern home—a place where Daniel could grow up surrounded by warmth and love. Their new house not only restored the comforts of home but also brought back the simple joys that war had taken away. Thanks to Hansen’s compassion, the Zaika family now has a safe and permanent sanctuary, a place to create lasting memories and continue their selfless contributions to their community. Their story is a testament to the power of kindness and the importance of hope, even in the most challenging times.
